It is both exciting and interesting to see how different christmas traditions around the world are celebrated. A fun project for you and your family over the holidays might be to research how different people spend christmas around the world. Christmas in Mexico is considered a religious holiday. Christmas is considered the celebration of the Nativity, the birth of Jesus Christ.

Every Christmas our family puts aside one entire day to put up our Christmas decorations. We decorate our tree and put up our Christmas ornaments. Christmas decorating is so much fun. Bring out some of your Christmas baking along with a special drink or two and enjoy the family together, singing Christmas carols as we work.
Out comes the nativity scene to sit on the fireplace mantel. Out come the homemade Christmas ornaments including the Christmas stockings that were lovingly stitched when the children were young. Christmas angels, Christmas tree ornaments, Christmas centerpieces for the dining room table.
