Travel Christmas gift satisfied the wife

Posted by christmas - June 30th, 2008

I’m a 46 year old female. Last Christmas, my husband took me to Cancun, Mexico. It was amazing! We left on December 19 and returned Dec 29. We have been out of the country before and flown frequently, to visit family and other vacations.

But we have never flown 1st class. When we were getting ready to board, they announced there were 6 seats available for upgrade in 1st class for $50.00 each. We jumped at the chance and acquired the last 2 seats.

It was awesome, free drinks, food, and the seats were so big! We had a great flight, arrived in Mexico on time. We stayed at the “All Inclusive” Cancun Beach Resort and they were at the airport waiting to take us to our room.

Most of my Christmas are a little like Mr Bean’s

Posted by christmas - June 13th, 2008

I am a 43 year old woman with two children. I’m divorced and I’m sorry to say that most of my Christmas are a little like Mr Bean’s. He has no one who wants to give him gifts, but must buy them for himself and then act surprised to get them.

Last Christmas was quite unique in many ways. I had learned that my mother was diagnosed with cancer and that is was possibly terminal. I had decided to change careers and had left a job of ten years behind me.

Christmas games: Right and Left of Christmas preparation

Posted by christmas - June 10th, 2008

The name of my favorite game to play at Christmas is the Right and Left of Christmas preparation. I don’t even remember where I obtained my copy of the story or where I played the game, but I’ve had it for a long time.

I suppose the story could be written for any occasion, but I’ve only used it for Christmas. There’s no limit on the number of people who can play, but when you get over ten people the game seems almost out of control with confusion which can make the game no fun. Read More »

That was a very wonderful and beautiful Christmas

Posted by christmas - June 6th, 2008

When it comes to Christmas time I love to decorate. I spent in one year over $250.00 just in decorations and I use these decorations every year.

We have a 7 foot tall pre-lit Christmas tree that takes up almost one room in our little home. Once we put it up, we almost don’t want to put ornaments on it because it is pretty enough with all the lights that are already on it, but we do anyway.

Christmas gift for a woman who value quality drinks

Posted by christmas - June 1st, 2008

I am a 40 plus woman who like good drinks. Not light beer or table wine. Not mediocre Pinot or Chardonnay. I mean the good stuff and everybody knows it. So I always get a few bottles for Christmas.

One year I even got myself a Champagne Dom Perignon. Wow… More than $120 a bottle. Sure did not want to share it. Last Christmas I got a Blue Johnny Walker. Goes down like silk…. A cheaper friend got me a Chivas Regal. Good one also, but not as expensive. I sure love them all. Now in order not to be drunk I need to munch.
