In our home on the holidays we use several different types of Christmas decorations. We had purchased a pre lit tree last year and it makes all the difference in the world as far as putting the tree up. It makes life a lot easier.
We use all different types of ornaments, mostly ones bought from different places we have traveled to and ones given by family members, which is tradition in our family, we always buy the Hallmark Ornaments to keep it unified. Christmas is our favorite holiday and decorating the tree starts with choosing the tree: it has to be a tall bushy tree with plenty of rooms to accommodate our many decorations.

Last Christmas I asked my sister for a Jason Varitek jersey. I am 25 and have been a fan of the Red Sox my whole life and the catcher, Jason Varitek, is my favorite player. Every gift I opened I would ask her if it was the jersey. Even if it was a tiny box or a really heavy box, I would always ask. But she saved the gift as my very last present.
She also got me a light up Fenway Park. It was funny because she has a huge Christmas village and I joked with her that it was missing a Fenway Park.
I also got a new digital camera from my parents. This was very special because they knew I had broken my old one and I had no idea they would be getting that kind of gift.

Christmas gifts don’t have to destroy your finances for the foreseeable future! Indeed, that is very far from the spirit of the season. What the people on your list need more than anything from you is to know how much you care about them, and that isn’t always represented with lavish gifts or money.
Try and select Christmas and Holiday gifts that deliver your heart, not your wallet! Take some time, give these choices some thought. Presumably if you’re reading this you’ve decided to do at least a portion of your shopping online, and this will afford you some extra time and resources to help in this.
