Nintendo Wii is a good gift for 25 year old woman

Posted by christmas - November 17th, 2008

I am a 25 year old female. My favorite gift I got last year was a Nintendo Wii from my husband. It is what I had been asking for since the Wii hit the market and we had such a hard time finding one for the last year or so I never expected to get one on Christmas morning.

I know my husband worked hard to be able to find one. It was a great surprise. It always nice to get something you have been wanting and especially when it is a surprise. I love the Nintendo Wii.

For one thing it is something our whole family can use together and we have had a lot of fun with it. We have 3 children ages 2, 5 and 6 and even the youngest one can swing the remote around and pretend like she is playing and in some of the easier games she can actually get an idea of how to play. My parents or my husbands parents are the most likely to buy us a house

Posted by christmas - November 17th, 2008

My parents or my husbands parents are the most likely to buy us a house, unless some lucky family member wins the lottery or wins a Nobel Prize or something like that.

I actually have thought about getting a house as a present.

In my mind, it would be a large blue or white Victorian house with a big wrap-around porch and white shutters and moldings on the outside. I would love a garden out front, with white and yellow tulips.

In the backyard, I would love to have a swimming pool with a small waterfall and a fence on the outside of the property. Read More »

I use Christmas decorations that I bought from Target

Posted by christmas - November 16th, 2008

I use Christmas decorations that I bought from Target. I am not sure of the brand, but they are the traditional bulb ornaments.

Well traditional in the way they’re constructed, but non traditional because they’re pink. I also use the clear and the pink lights to compliment them. I have pink garland.

My 16 year old brother came to a tree trimming party I had and he and my dad both refused to help decorate “the girly tree” as they called it. I spent well over $200 on all the ornaments, lights, and tinsel, but it was well worth it. Read More »

Good gift for a girl that likes to take pictures

Posted by christmas - November 16th, 2008

I am a 27 year old female. There was a very special gift that I received last year. One gift I received last Christmas was from my parents and they printed all of my pictures that I started taking professionally and put them together in a beautiful portfolio.

It meant so much to me because I was unable to create the portfolio on my own because I did not have that kind of money to spend. It really has helped me with my passion of photography and with the extra work I have had over this past year.

The way they had it put together was so wonderful. There are so many different types of pictures from the black and whites to the sepia colors. It’s phenomenal to see my own work put into something that seems so surreal. Read More »

Gift for 23 year old girl

Posted by christmas - November 16th, 2008

My age is 23 and I’m female. I got this really nice perfume. I liked it because it will be something that is very useful.

I do not like getting presents that you can not use. One year we decided to give a theme. We decided to do animals. So everyone got an animal.

One person got a dog for their animal. They made a complaint about thinking that they where a bitch because that what dog means sometimes. Read More »

If I was given a house for Christmas

Posted by christmas - November 16th, 2008

I need a house for my 6 children. If I was given a house for Christmas from my husband, I would want at least 4 bedrooms or more.

A nice size backyard.

Wood floors throughout, nice size windows with high ceilings. I would like a kid friendly home. With a family room.

I would prefer the California area. That is family friendly. That would be great. Read More »

Christmas gifts for 33 year old woman who loves computer and cars

Posted by christmas - November 15th, 2008

I must say first and foremost as a 33 year old woman it becomes more and more difficult for my loved ones to purchase anything for me for Christmas or for any event in my life.

I have my own personal style that I stick too so clothes is definitely a no no when it comes to a gift.

Christmas 2007 my loved ones were very simple when it came to gifts. I am very much into computers and I save a lot of information so my boyfriend was nice enough to get an external hard drive for my computer.

The external hard drive has been a great asset for me. I tend to purchase a lot of music online and instead of storing it on my C drive of my laptop I just simply put it on my external hard drive. Read More »

My son is and will always be my Christmas miracle

Posted by christmas - November 15th, 2008

On December 19, 1995, my son Wyatt was born in respiratory distress. Because he was delivered by c-section, I had to remain in the hospital in our home town while Wyatt went first by ambulance, then by helicopter to the hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I had never known such sadness as wondering if my tiny boy was doing well or fading. I felt angry and then heartbroken that I couldn’t be with him, holding him while he fought so hard to survive.

My pastor and members of my church came to visit me many times. When I finally got word that Wyatt might be released from the hospital on Christmas Day, possibly Christmas Eve, I shared the news with my pastor. Read More »

I love the Christmas season and try to decorate the house indoors and out

Posted by christmas - November 14th, 2008

I love the Christmas season and try to decorate the house indoors and out. Outside we use nothing but small white lights and outline the house and the porch and twine the lights around the columns of the porch.

Our house is pale green with dark green trim so it adds to the seasonal look. We have a lighted green and red holly display that we attach to the patio fence. The patio is just off the porch and between it and the garage so it is easily seen from the street. The porch has a bench on it and a small table.

We usually put a flower pot with artificial poinsettias on the table to add a splash of color. We hang 3 windsocks on the porch – a Santa, a Nutcracker and a reindeer. We have 3 wooden reindeer made from logs that we place in the upper yard near the patio and porch and a sign that reads ‘Reindeer Crossing’. Read More »

I will describe our living room Christmas decorations

Posted by christmas - November 12th, 2008

We use many Christmas decorations but I will describe our living room Christmas decorations. Our living room is decorated at all times in a Western Theme. We had to have a Western Tree. When we decided to do the Western Tree it was about 4 years ago when we first married.

Western Decorations were not easy to come by. Now days we see them in every store. So we have a Christmas tree that is a regular pine tree. Due to allergies in our home we must use an artificial tree.

We use burlap as the skirt on the bottom. We have many western decorations that we have picked up over the years. Cowboy Santa and Reindeer, cowboy boots and hats, guns, and all sorts. Read More »
