Gifts for a teenage girl

Posted by christmas - January 28th, 2009

I’m a teenage gal that loves music and gadgets. And I don’t think anyone can get too old for a new gadget. It’s hard to resist the latest and greatest piece of technology.

My family must have known these facts because last Christmas I received from them a Sony NWZ-S615F MP3 player. It is the 2GB model in red. I am very pleased with the Christmas gift I received and find it is all I could want in an MP3 player.

Sony is one of my favorite brands and they are a very reliable company. It has the capability to play music, videos, and store pictures. I can now carry my family photos, favorite songs, and video clips with me everywhere I go with no hassle. Read More »

Gifts for 23 year old boy

I am a 23 year old male. Last Christmas, my lovely and beautiful wife got me a brand new Digital camera. It wasn’t a typical one, but it was a digital SLR camera which can have many different lenses.

I have been wanting one for a few years but could not afford any. Well, the prices have been going down and my wife was able to get me one. I love it because I like photography a lot and wanted to learn more.

Since then, I have been going places and taking tons of pictures. I have also gotten new lenses and other accessories for the camera. It is a Canon rebel XSI also known as the canon 450D. Read More »

Gifts for 65 year old woman

Posted by christmas - January 14th, 2009

I’m 65-year-old grandmother, a semi-invalid with a husband, five living children (we lost one almost three years ago), and a Ph.D. Last year I got mainly gift certificates for book stores for Christmas.

This is what I always get for Christmas, because everybody knows that I read all the time. Besides an indeterminate number of paper books–it used to be 4000 but I think it’s down to about a thousand, both because I now live within two blocks of a library and because I have been slowly replacing paper books with electronic books.

I have three ebook readers–the original Rocket, which in some ways is still the best; the eBookwise, which was the first acceptable copycat of the Rocket and will do some things the Rocket won’t; and the Kindle, which is awkward in the way its buttons work and is not backlit, but it has the most available books of any commercial site, and provides instantaneous electronic download. Gift ideas for 20 year old girl

I am 20, Female. Last year was a small Christmas for my family. We didn’t have much to give each other but all of them came together and bought me a Canon Digital Rebel Xti. I love it! I absolutely love it!

Even though it was the only gift I got last year, it’s been the best gift I have ever received! I could not have asked for a better camera. The functions are simple and easy to use. I’ve been able to learn how to take great pictures on my own and with little experimentation.

The quality of the camera is superb. The pictures it takes are unlike any I took before. I’m proud to show off my pictures to people. I know that I’m showing them good pictures instead of mediocre ones. Read More »

Gift ideas for 22 year old girl

I am a 22 year old female. I love to travel to new place, and have mainly traveled within the United States; however, this last Christmas changed that. Last Christmas, my parents surprised me with a gift of round trip plan tickets to travel to Munich, Germany and Paris, France in March.

I loved this gift. They told me that my Christmas gift would be the best gift I have ever gotten and teased me about it for weeks and they were right. The only place I had ever been outside the country was Mexico, and living in Texas, that is easy to accomplish.

My father was born in Germany, so I was excited to see what it is like to spend time there and learn more about my heritage. I was also excited to go to France. My mother went when she was a few years younger than I am now, as a graduation gift from her parents. Read More »
