Gift ideas for a college girl
Last Christmas was very special for me and my family. We had the birth of my niece Rhianna a few weeks prior as well as my return home from college for the first time all year.
I choose a school that was within the state but four hours from home.
From my mother I received a brand new digital camera to take pictures of my new college town and dorm. My old camera was from when digital cameras were still fairly new and was not up with the new technology anymore.
She got it a cute color, pink, my favorite. From my brother and sister in law I got twin XL bedding for my new dorm bed. The sheets were in a polka dot pattern and flannel, perfect for the cold winter weather we experience where I live.
The polka dots were purple, pink and yellow. They also got a twin XL reversible comforter that is pink on one side and purple on e the other, my two favorite colors!
My Grandmother got me brand new laptop to do my schoolwork on. My old computer was older and very slow and a new one is just what I needed! It was black with silver.
It also came with a wireless mouse and really cute cover you can put over the top of it to personalize it. The cover was a pretty pink swirl pattern that she knew I would love. The wireless mouse is also pink; does she know me or what?
The laptop had everything I needed, word processing, wireless internet connection, photo software, and games for me to play once all my work was done. Overall I loved how they all related their gifts to my new experience and helped me bring a little piece of home back to school with me.
