I use Christmas decorations that I bought from Target. I am not sure of the brand, but they are the traditional bulb ornaments.
Well traditional in the way they’re constructed, but non traditional because they’re pink. I also use the clear and the pink lights to compliment them. I have pink garland.
My 16 year old brother came to a tree trimming party I had and he and my dad both refused to help decorate “the girly tree” as they called it. I spent well over $200 on all the ornaments, lights, and tinsel, but it was well worth it. Read More »

I have four children, so Christmas at my house is very hectic and fun. I buy most of my Christmas decorations but couldn’t give details on brand names because I buy what I need when I need it or during the after Christmas sales. We then incorporate these decorations into the next Christmas.
Since my children are school age some of my favorite decorations come from them. I particularly like the bells they made out of Dixie cups and the Popsicle crosses with their pictures on them. Obviously, we use lights on are tree. Read More »

Christmas decorating is probably my most favorite activity of the year. It is by far the most exciting and looked forward to activity of the year. My family decorates our house ourselves.
There are several items that we use from year to year. The tree has been the center of our decorating since before I can remember. We use red tinsel and multi-colored lights spun around the tall green tree that sparkle and glow.
There are multi colored metallic balls that sparkle the lights. Balls or gold, silver, purple, red, blue and green make the tree look like a festive fruit cake. My mother also has a set of antique metallic balls from the 1960s that dot the tree with glee. Read More »
