Gifts for 21 year old girl who loves to cook
I got a surprising amount of Christmas gifts this year. I don’t usually expect much of anything, and especially not since I’ve turned 21.
Part of being an adult means that you just simply don’t get Christmas gifts like you did when you were a kid. That wasn’t as true for me this year as it has been in the past.
This year my boyfriend completely stoked me out; He got me the thing that I’ve been wanting for far too long now, and that I’ll use probably everyday, a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer.
And as if that’s not cool enough on it’s own, he even went so far as to get it in my favorite color – green. And he got me possibly the greatest accessory I could have for it, the Ice Cream maker.
Which is perfect for both me and him – seeing as to how I love baking and making Ice Cream, and he loves to eat it! His family is really into Christmas as well, and I guess they all collaborated together with him, since this was our second Christmas together, and they all got me things that went along with my cool new mixer.
One of his aunts got me the Pasta maker attachment, and the Kitchen Aid Cook book; While his other aunt got me baking dishes. Not just any baking dishes mind you, there’s a set of silicon baking appliances, like an oven mitt, a cookie mat, and some silicon cup cake cups.
Perhaps the neatest gift I got was this olive green colored baking dish. The sides of it are wavy, and the handles are twisted. The interesting design and color of the dish give it a get appeal for either baking or simply just for serving.
It’s maybe a little larger then a typical loaf pan, would be great for an Apple Strudel Cake, or would look dashing with the red contrast of lasagna. Over all, I loved every gift I got – and they couldn’t have been more suited to me.
I guess next year around Christmas time, everybody’s going to be expecting a bundle of baked goods!
