Good Christmas gift for 30 year old woman
I’m a thirty year old female. Last Christmas, I received several gifts for the baby I was expecting at the time. Because I was pregnant, I didn’t have a lot of gift suggestions for people.
In the past, I would have clothes on my gift list, but it’s hard to ask for clothes when you are seven months pregnant and don’t have any idea what size you’ll be after the baby arrives. Some of the gifts I received will be family Christmas keepsakes for many years to come and will probably have nice traditions develop around them.
One of the gifts from my husband was a Home-medics clock/radio that also has an iPod dock. This was for our daughter’s room. I like it a lot because it has soothing nature sounds that help relax the baby and help her drift off to dreamland for naps.
But, it’s also great for me because I can listen to the radio or our iPod playlists while I am upstairs cleaning or folding laundry.
We use the radio almost everyday, especially the feature that projects the time up onto the ceiling.
One funny Christmas story comes from when I was a little girl. My Dad, sister, and I had gone shopping for my Mom’s gift. We had wrapped everything and put it under the Christmas tree. About a week later, my sister and I were helping our Mom wrap gifts for other family members and putting them under the tree.
My Mom gave me a small package to place under the tree; I was only three or four at the time and couldn’t handle big packages. So, I walked over to the Christmas tree and said “I’m going to put this right her by your boots Mommy.”
Everyone thought that was just the funniest thing and my family repeatedly tells that story to embarrass me.
