I am a 51 year old female who knows what she likes for a Christmas gift
Last Christmas brought gifts of candy from my children and a pair of white gold hoop earrings from my husband. I knew I was receiving this gift because I picked them out myself! I saw this particular pair in the finer jewelry area of Wal-Mart and fell in love with them. We put them on layaway and paid for them in a few installments.
I am a 51 year old female who knows what she likes. I also know my husband has a terrible time trying to figure out what to get me for Christmas, birthday or anniversary. Some years I know exactly what I’d like several months ahead of time, other years I haven’t a clue.
Last year I just happened to see these about a month or so before Christmas. I put feelers out with the kids… “you can tell your Dad that I REALLY like these earrings.” By the time I got to the next aisle, the bug was put in his ear and off he was to the jewelry counter. Kids are great!
I like these earrings very much, I rarely take them off. In fact, I think I’ve only worn different earrings a few times since I received these white gold hoops. The earrings are cut in such a way as to reflect light-sort of slash marks in an “X” shape all around the hoop. They are probably my favorite earrings now because they are so comfortable, they are light weight and that they shine and sparkle. (I like the glitz)
My kids know that I have taken a liking to chocolate candy and sour gummy worms. So, now, I get a bag of assorted packaged candies from the kids. From Snicker bars to York Peppermint candies, I certainly got my fill of yummy chocolates! I can hardly wait until this Christmas!!
