I enjoy the Martha Stewart collection of Christmas ornaments
I love fiber optic Christmas trees! I started out with a 6ft one in the living room. Then I add about 5 sets of lights. I live in the Southwest, so I add 2 sets of chili pepper lights, one red and one green. I found these at KMART.
I also have a set of icicle lights I hang off the bottom of the tree. For closer to the top I have an angel holding small lights in her hands and her dress is lit up by lights as well.
Near the top of the tree I have lights that look like little candles. I ask for ornaments for Christmas gifts each year. I have so many! I have collected Santa Clauses for a few years, especially ceramic ones about 5 inches high. I have had so many ornaments last year I went back to Walmart and bought another smaller fiber optic tree for my bedroom.
I have a small nativity scene set up with items that were from my childhood. The main part of the set is from Italy.
I go all out decorating the patio. I have multi colored chili lights, lit up candy canes and sparkling snowflake lights. I have a set with large golf ball size bulbs as well. I don’t spend a lot on decorations.
I add one set of outdoor lights every year; they usually cost around $10. I try to buy on sale. Many of my items have come from Walmart. I also like K-Mart as well as I enjoy the Martha Stewart Collection. I have a wreath from her collection that I bought for about $25, two years ago. Believe it or not it is all for one single person.
It’s just not Christmas without all the decorations.
