I have two favorite Christmas gifts from last year

I am 28 years old and a female. I have two favorite Christmas gifts from last year. My husband purchased me a set of kitchen aid pots of pans. We have been married for 4 years and have been having a hard time with pots and pans. I decided after reading lots of reviews that kitchen aid was the brand that I wanted.

I told him what I wanted and that is what he got. No need in purchasing me a gift that I will not use. My other favorite gift was from my daughter who was 5 years old last year. She made me a handmade coffee mug.

My husband took her to a local crafts store and made her pick out something that she make homemade for the entire family. She picked a huge coffee mug for me. She took her time and pained it red and green. My husband helped her. They painted in and put it in the oven.

She made coffee mugs for people, plates for people, goody bags for people and all sorts of homemade things for everyone. She did a total of 10 gifts for less than $40.00. Homemade presents are always the best.

Christmas is a big deal in this house and we always make sure that everyone gets something from their wish list. I love all the presents that I generally get. Most people in my family buy what you ask for as long as it is a reasonable price.

We carry a philosophy—no need to purchase something that they will not use, that will get thrown away, given to goodwill, or sold in a yard sale. If you are going to spend money on a Christmas present for someone you should put your money to good use.
