Our Christmas decorations are generally home made

Christmas is a time where the family gets together. Hence, it is very important that the family spends the time together too. I have three little girls and it is round this time that we see that we collectively do the decorations and collectively hang them on.

Our decorations are generally home made. We saw a beautiful Christmas wreathe in the shop one day and went back home and figured out how we could do the same at home. We took a motorcycle tube filled air in it. Then we wrapped the whole tube with green paper.

We then rolled green tinsel paper round the whole tube. The base of the wreathe is now ready. Now we realized that we required to have the red berries. So we took green felt paper cut it into the required shape (three of them stuck back; to back).

We then took red felt paper and made small balls of it. We fixed the same on the leaves and then fixed the leaves on the wreathe. The wreathe really looks beautiful and adorns our house well.

The beauty of the wreathe is we deflate the tube and store it when not in use and every Christmas we refill air into the same and the tube is ready for the next Christmas

Share your Christmas experience, we are impatient to read it :-)
