Royal Furniture outlet in Key West, Florida
I recently went to Royal Furniture, in Key West, Florida USA, to purchase a Christmas gift for my best friend.
She has a lot of books and magazines which she has scattered around her apartment and I decided that she could use a bookcase or cabinet in order to store them away from view.
The store is in a shopping center next to where I do my grocery shopping so it is convenient. I was greeted by a woman sales clerk as soon as I entered the store.
There were signs saying that they were having a special sale and, indeed, there were sale prices on almost all of the furniture tags that were attached to the pieces.
I explained to her what I was looking for but said I would like to look around myself to see what was available. The store is rather large and it took me quite a while to check all the cabinets and their sale prices.
I did find two that were in my price range of $300 to $500 and were the right size. One was brown rattan but I did not think it was pretty and I thought it would be difficult to remove dust from in between the rattan. It cost $399.
I also saw a small bookcase that had two doors. Each door had a pretty palm tree painted on it, and there were two movable shelves inside. It cost $499.
I asked the saleswoman if they could deliver on Christmas Eve day because it was a Christmas gift. After checking with the store manager, she said they could do that. I was not sure which one I wanted to purchase at the time, so she kindly wrote down the pertinent information regarding each one on her business card and gave it to me.
After thinking it over at home for a few days, I called her and told her I had decided on the one with the painted palm trees.
First she had to make sure it was still available. I held on the phone for quite a while. When she returned to the phone she apologized and said it was still available but had been moved from the place where it was when I saw it before, so she had to find it on the display floor.
I was able to order it and pay for it by credit card over the phone and it will be delivered Christmas Eve day, just as I wished. All in all, I would definitely return to Royal Furniture to purchase furniture when I need it.
