What a 22 year old woman want for a Christmas gift
My name is Brittny and I am a 22 year old female. Last Christmas I received many great gifts but my favorites were my iPod, my Desperate Housewives Season 2 DVD Set and some Black Ugg boots I really wanted.
I received the iPod and DVD from my husband and the boots from my Father in Law. I was really happy about receiving these Christmas gifts as I had wanted them all for a long time. The funny thing about the boots was these were at the top of my list as they were 170 dollar boots and I just couldn’t bring myself to buy them, but wanted them so bad.
Anyway, on Christmas morning I opened all of my gifts and selfish me – I was a little disappointed that I did not end up receiving the boots. I did not say anything to my husband when he asked me why I looked disappointed. I told him I was fine, but deep down I was very upset I didn’t receive them.
Later on that day we went to my husband’s father’s house to celebrate Christmas and proceeded to open gifts. My father in law handed me a gift with an eager smile on his face. When I opened the gift I was so excited to see the black boots that I had wanted forever, but felt very selfish because I was actually mad that I hadn’t received them that morning.
I put them on and discovered they were the wrong size. Another disappointment. I guess that’s what God had in store for me for being so selfish. After all, Christmas is not all about the gifts. I ended up returning them a few days later and got my size. It was a great Christmas.
